The deep roots and small leaves of the Argan tree allow it to resist dry winds and water loss, resulting in a nut with a unique oil profile. Argan Hair & Body Oil has an impressive sterol and fatty acid composition. Our organically crafted 100% Pure Argan Hair & Body Oil, popularly referred to as Liquid Gold, is Cold-Pressed from the kernels of the Argania spinosa trees growing in the arid valleys of southwestern Morocco. The oil’s aroma is a nutty (almost earthy) scent, owing to the retained nutrients from the soil it grows in. The oil is traditionally prepared by hand in a laborious practice to squeeze out the coveted oil from a doughy kernel paste through repeated kneading. This method minimizes nutrient loss. Everybody in my family loves this. They came round and had a try when they were over, and argan is a very good oil for sensitive skin.
