Sweet Almond Hair & Body Oil is an excellent rejuvenating oil and emollient and is known for its ability to soften fine lines and re-condition dry skin, restoring a healthy skin glow. It is rich in proteins, Olein Glyceride, Omega-6 (Linoleic Acid), and Vitamins A, B, D and E making it extremely good at dry skin nourishing. It is widely used topically for its affinity for good absorption, its ability to deeply penetrate skin layers, and its finish with a slight oily touch.
Our organically crafted Sweet Almond Hair & Body Oil is Cold-Pressed from the nuts of the Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis yielding a lightweight, pale-yellow, non-greasy carrier oil with great absorption properties. The oil has a delicate nutty aroma to a trained nose, reminiscent of the Sweet Almond itself.
Sweet Almond Hair & Body Oil contains, among other impressive nutritive components, an unusually high concentration of skin smoothing Vitamin A (Retinol), fat metabolizing Vitamin B7 (Biotin), immunity boosting Vitamin D and skin protecting Vitamin E (Tocopherol), vital components for maintaining healthy skin, and boosting hair quality with added lustre. The oil also contains a high and well-balanced percentage of unsaturated fatty acids, particularly Oleic and Linoleic Acid (up to 19% content) in a 3:1 ratio and displays very good overall oxidative stability. Its anti-inflammatory properties help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduces redness and rashes caused by drying (including conditions like rosacea and eczema), and keeps skin calm and comfortable.
Sweet Almond Hair & Body Oil is a great oil that can be used directly on dry, mature and sensitive skin for its soothing moisturization, or used as a light carrier to deliver other essential nutrients through exciting infusions and herbal macerations.
